The Internet has certainly changed the way America, and the world over, does business. That’s no less true of the auto industry. Toyota has built a mini-site to allow customers to provide testimonials.
The site, a section of Toyota’s owners website, is called “Stories From The Road”. It’s a community website designed to get Toyota owners talking about what they like about Toyota and the specific models that they drive.
A quick glance of Stories From The Road’s home page showcases a lead article from a Toyota driver in Rhode Island. That’s followed by some Toyota truck owner stores and then by hybrid owner stories and, finally, by Toyota car / van / SUV owner stories.
This is certainly a novel concept and it has me wondering if other auto manufacturers will implement something similar.
