Just when we think we’ve seen and heard it all, Nissan is yet again planning new technology for their vehicles. The new planned technology will be a car that reads minds. Yes, you read that right. In a few years you just may have a Nissan vehicle that can read your mind in certain maneuvers.
Brain Computer Interface (BCI) technology will help you execute certain maneuvers while driving. For instance, if you are going to change lanes and there is another car in your blind spot, the car can read your mind and the vehicle will not move over because it senses the lane change will be dangerous.
Another maneuver in which the BCI technology will help the driver is merging into traffic. Once again, the Nissan vehicle will read your mind and automatically adjust your speed to meet the merging traffic.
Nissan is at the forefront with this type of technology and is continually working on technology just like the BCI in an effort to make the roads safer for all drivers. Nissan is moving in a direction that other auto manufacturers will have to follow in order to keep up.
It is going to be interesting to see what Nissan has in store for their vehicles in the future.
