A new Jeep Concept Car was introduced this year at the Paris Auto Show. The Jeep Patriot Back Country may only be a concept car, but there is rampant speculation that this vehicle may hit the floor of your Jeep dealer near Monmouth Junction in time for the 2009 or 2010 model years.
What makes the Jeep Patriont Back Country so interesting? This vehicle aims to combine the most important aspects of the Patriot, such as fuel efficiency and a fun ride, with the activity and adventure of the outdoor enthusiast that is so characteristic of the other Jeep models. According to Vice President of Design at Chrysler, Ralph Gilles, “The Jeep Patriot Back Country concept was inspired by the outdoor enthusiast seeking adventure, fun and freedom.”
The concept version of the Patriot Back Country displayed a number of different Mopar accessories, including a Cargo Basket for the roof and Mopar deluxe splash guards. It also has off-road lights in the front of the basket, which are great for nighttime outings.
The concept vehicle features 18-inch wheels and tires, and combines deep colors like Optic Green and Dark Slate Gray, accented with Chrome. It even features a platinum chrome light bar to light up your license plate.
