The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder LE V6 is an SUV worth spending money on – even with today’s rising gas prices. For starters, the 4X2 drivetrain gets 15 mpg in the city and 22 mpg on the highway. The 4X4 trim isn’t quite as impressive, but it’s not too shabby at 14mpg and 20 mpg, respectively. Those aren’t bad numbers for the class. And with an MSRP of $38,120, it’s still affordable for most families.
The engine is a 4.0-liter DOHC 24-valve V6 with a horsepower capacity of 266 at 5,600 rpm and a torque output of 288 pound-feet at 4,000 rpm. She also operates on continuously variable valve time control for the intake and the Nissan Direct Ignition System.
The drivetrain consists of a 5-speed automatic transmission with a manual mode. All mode 4-wheel drive with 2-speed transfer case is available on the 4X4 as an option. The 4X2 comes with 2-wheel ABLS and the 4X4 with 4-wheel ABLS.
Safety and security were both at the forefront of manufacturer concerns. The Pathfinder LE V6 is equipped with the Nissan Vehicle Immobilizer System and state-of-the-art airbag and seatbelt systems.
Interior features include:
- Information center with 7-inch color display
- RearView monitor
- Bluetooth hands-free phone system
- Rear air conditioning with rear controls
- Digital compass
- And a ton more as well
Exterior features include:
- Front tow hook on the 4X4
- Skid plate on the lower radiator
- Running boards
- Rear black privacy glass
And, again, this is just the tip of the iceberg. There are a ton more exterior features to be proud of as well.
The 2011 Nissan Pathfinder LE V6 is a vehicle the whole family will love. It’s an SUV for the 21st century.
